Dartmoor

This project is a photographic study of Great Staple Tor in Dartmoor—a place that feels both ancient and alive, shaped by time, weather, and myth. Drawn to its dramatic rock formations and shifting atmosphere, I visited the site with the aim of capturing not just its physical presence, but its mood.

Photographing the tor using both a Mamiya RB67 and a digital camera allowed me to explore different ways of seeing and responding to the landscape. The slowness and precision of shooting on film helped me focus on detail and form, while digital gave me the flexibility to respond quickly to changes in light and weather.
