Emotional Landscapes
Emotional Landscapes is a personal project that explores the connection between emotion and the natural world. Made during a time of grief, the images reflect different feelings linked to loss—sadness, silence, distance, and reflection.
I photographed quiet, empty landscapes that felt like they matched my inner state. The open spaces, soft light, and muted tones helped express emotions I couldn’t easily put into words.
Rather than showing specific events, this work focuses on mood and atmosphere. The landscape becomes a way to make sense of grief—a space to feel, to process, and to begin to understand what can’t always be seen.
